Modeling human face and other objects undergoing free motion in front of a camera is an important application in the multimedia and media industry. Although there has been a lot of work in the area, one of the few unanswered question is how to obtain the 3D model when the camera calibration parameters are unknown, or when an object undergoes a free form motion. In this paper, we present a non parametric regression technique using cubic B-spline to fit models of objects whose monocular image sequences have been captured by an inexpensive desktop camera. The results show the effectiveness of the method.
