In the B2Bi scenario, Business Process Management certainly plays an essential role if an enterprise wants to integrate internal existing processes with trading partners' in a manageable manner. ebXML, RosettaNet, and Web Services are among the emerging standards that will play a key role in the automation of B2Bi from the angles of both business and technology. How would these all be engineered together to bring this B2Bi into reality? A Web Services-compliant eXFlow solution is aimed at providing such an environment. This paper is to give a detailed account of this solution. We further illustrate the concepts behind with a typical B2Bi application scenario.
