In this research effort an ODSS was developed to support strategic planning and decision making of an industrial company. The financial strategies of a growing firm were of greatest interest. It is highlighted that an industrial company has several internal and external strategies to finance the required funds, working capital as well as production fixed capacity. We emphasize that the financial and strategic analysis concerning the whole firm must be fulfilled under multiple criteria. We was also show how the dynamic financial planning can be combined with a hierarchical evaluation procedure effectively. The evidence from the study is that the quality and quantity of information for corporate strategic decision making can be fundamentally extended by such a computer-based integration. An ODSS of this kind combines traditional data, subjective evaluations, and planning models interactively in order to improve the effectiveness of a manufacturing firm.
