Terracotta warrior and horses of the Qin Dynasty is an outstanding representative work in Chinese ancient arts and cultures. It is urgent to well protect this world culture heritage by an easy, reliable and advanced technique. Digitalization is an intersecting technique of advanced digitizing and information processing with archaeological and culture relics. It can realize the reappearance, protection and replication of the culture relics, especially the digital reappearing and rebuilding a 3-D digital museum of the archaeological settings. Aiming at the specialty of terracotta warrior, we made a 3-D model of a sole shooting squat terracotta warrior by using of 3-D digitizing processing techniques. This paper specifically describes the 3-D digitizing acquisition and processing techniques, analyses the 3-D digitizing, 3-D modeling, the key problems in the cause of doing texture mapping, and provides the settlement and approves the reliability and feasibility of modeling, Texture mapping by results.
