This work is concerned with the FPGA implementation of pipelined SRT division, a clear bottleneck in the process of tomographic image reconstruction using Filtered Back-Projection (FBP) from fan beam projections. Our solution adopts radix-4 form in the quotient generation and "On-the-Fly Conversion" to return to the conventional representation. Our pipelined system uses 2190 logical elements, 9 internal memory blocks and delivers a 18 bits-wide results at 45 MHz.
