Workflow is the most popular choice among businesses for capturing and managing their operational knowledge. The conceptual and technology framework built around workflow in the past decades provides the basis for service-oriented concepts to be introduced into business information systems. In this paper, we present an extension to traditional workflow that enables Web services to be composed into business solutions. The model proposed is embedded in the DySCo (Dynamic Service Composer), which is also presented.
