In general, load balancing algorithm is composed of four policies: selection, transfer, information, and location. Specially, information and location policies have the most important role. This paper presents some effects of the state information for location and information policies in distributed load balancing algorithm. Many systems with distributed environment are trying to use load balancing concept. Some systems are already using it and they are summarized. The systems are adopting various information and location policies. This paper analyzes the relationships between the two policies currently used. Also, based on the analyzing result, an information policy and a location policy are proposed.
