A self-adapting Mobile IPv6 model based on MAP is presented to optimize the performance when mobile node moves frequently at remote region. Through enhancing the MAP, adopting the Self-adapting Binding Update policy and Intra-CN Process, the model optimizes mobile node?s moving performance, owns the capability of self-adapting to exterior network changes as well as improves the utilization of network resources.
