Travel behaviour under information is a complex process which includes traveller interaction with the environment and consequent information. This process were not fully explored in the past studies because the difficulties in collecting the data. In this paper, a VR based integrated driving-traffic simulation system is presented to collect data needed to address the travellers behaviour under information. The major advantage is that this system has sophisticated control on generated traffic condition and consequent information, which are crucial for the studies on information impacts on travel behaviour. The conceptual design of integrated system is discussed in this paper. In addition, results from a pilot study are also discussed. The results of the pilot study provide some information on future experiment designs with developed system.
