Pattern in a long time stands for a reusable and proven solution to problems. In this paper, we propose the modeling and implementation of one kind of software pattern in the field of user interface development. Two integrated parts, an extended UML meta-model, which is used to define the model of the pattern, and an abstract underlying framework, which is to back the execution of the patterns, are proposed to support our pattern system. Based on that, we suggest some possible ways to construct user interface application in the context of pattern based development.
