FINANCIAL SPONSORSHIP (Applying for Sponsorship)Sponsorship requests should be submitted 12 months prior to the meeting start date.
TECHNICAL CO-SPONSORSHIP (TCS) (Applying for Sponsorship)Formerly called In Cooperation, TCS is used to request technical sponsorship only, with no financial sponsorship. To request Technical Cosponsorship, please complete and submit a TCS application: Technical Cosponsorship Form (PDF) for your conference. For questions or assistance with the TCS application process, please contact tcsrequest@computer.org.

Sales Tax Exemption/VAT/VisasThe IEEE-CS is sales tax exempt in the 15 States listed below. Please consider the benefits of sales tax exemption in these states when beginning site selection. For international conferences, some countries require VAT or GST payments. For more information, please review IEEE VAT and GST information. Recent changes in policy now require conference organizers, not IEEE-CS staff, to send invitation letters to conference attendees. For more information, please review our visa information.
MOUsThe IEEE now requires all co-sponsored conferences to have completed a co-sponsorship Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU). The is a quality assurance requirement and must be completed before sponsorship is approved. Please contact cs-mou@computer.org to begin the process. Support in Promoting your CS Sponsored ConferenceThe Computer Society would like to help in promoting your CS sponsored conference. Please add conferences@computer.org to your CS conference mailing list. This e-mail alias is periodically checked for conference announcements we can use to help us promote events through our various social media channels, magazine & Web advertisements, etc. NOTE: DO NOT write to the conferences alias with questions about sponsorship or logistics. You will not receive a response.
