Gerardo Reyes Salgado was born in Cuernavaca, Morelos, México, on January 2, 1962 He is an Electrical Engineer graduated from the Technological Institute of Zacatepec and Master Degree in Computer Science from the National Center of Research and Technological Development (Cenidet), and he has a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligencefrom the National Institute Grenoble (INPG). Grenoble, France. He is a Professor of the Department of Computer Science in the National Center of Research and Technological Development (Cenidet), his main research areas are: Neural networks, Fuzzy logic, Neural Symbolic Hybrid Systems and Soft Computing. He is a Computational Intelligence Student Branch Chapter Advisor and Vice Chairman of IEEE Morelos Computer Chapter.
