The Computer Society will be offering training to its Chapter Chairs and
Vice Chairs in San Francisco, immediately prior to the beginning of IEEE
Sections Congress 2011, on August 19th, 2011.

This Chapter Chair training session will be held at the same venue as
the IEEE Sections Congress, and is intended as a convenient way of
delivering training to those Chapter Chairs who are intending to travel
to Sections Congress.

This one-day training session will cover a broad range of topics, all of
them relevant for Computer Society Chapter Chairs.

Sections Congress, to be held in San Francisco August 19-21, is a large
gathering for Section and Region volunteers in IEEE.  This event is an
outstanding event and many Sections send several volunteers to learn and
interact with their counterparts from all over the world.

If you are traveling to Sections Congress 2011, or if you will be in the
San Francisco area on August 19th, this special one day training session
from the Computer Society will be of interest.

Funding for travel to/from San Francisco for this training session is
not available from the Computer Society. However, the Computer Society
will cover the cost of the training; hotel for one additional night; and
meals during our session, so take advantage of this opportunity!

Please indicate your interest in attending as soon as possible.  This
training session is subject to cancellation, so do not delay.
