Super Early-Bird Registration Deadline Ends on 28 February

Mobile and cloud computing are converging to create a new platform—one that provides unlimited computing resources. Separately, mobile and cloud have limitations. Mobile is constrained by limited memory, battery life, and processing power, and cloud on the desktop only goes so far.

But together, mobile and cloud have the potential to create tremendous opportunities. To help computing professionals learn how to unlock these opportunities, IEEE Computer Society is hosting a mobile cloud event this spring.

Rock Stars of Mobile Cloud will be held 6 May in Boston. The Super Early-Bird price of $209 for IEEE and IEEE Computer Society members, and $279 for nonmembers, extends through 28 February. For information or to register, visit http://www.computer.org/Mobile-Cloud.

Corporate leaders are scrambling to leverage the power of Mobile Cloud in internal and external environments. Processes must be developed to ensure reliability and scalability, ease integration, provide anytime, anywhere access, and more.

Top leaders who will be presenting at Rock Stars of Mobile Cloud include:

·                 Nick Brown, SAP Senior Vice President of Mobile Strategy

·                 Peter Coffee, Vice President and Head of Platform Research at Salesforce.com

·                 Kit Colbert, CTO of End-User Computing at VMware

·                 Bernard Golden, Vice President of Enterprise Solutions for Enstratius

·                 Joshua Greenbaum, Principal of Enterprise Applications Consulting

·                 Dr. John Halamka, CIO of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center

·                 Frank Ingari, CEO of NaviNet

·                 George Reese, Executive Director of Cloud Management, Dell Enstratius, and

·                 Krishnan Subramanian, Director of OpenShift Strategy at Red Hat.
