By omitting sensors which have incorrect action ina wireless sensor network, network is reorganizedagain and it causes the consumption of energy andmay also cause that some parts of the network go outof the coverage. The functionality of the network willbe lowered when a node is thrown out from thenetwork, so designing a sensor network with lowconsumption of energy is one of the prominent trendstoday. In this paper, we suppose that the nodes arearranged in a grid typology, and according to thelimitation of energy for each sensor, we want to coverthe maximum of network with the minimum activesensors. To achieve this goal, we have used a maskwith specific dimensions and features. This mask isplaced on different parts of the network and it createsa division according to the sensor off or on with theaim of increasing the network lifetime and maximizingcoverage of the network. With respect to the mathstructure in the proposed algorithm, the total networklifetime will be considerably maximized.
