The style of our code, encompassing formatting, the ordering of the program's elements, and the naming of our identifiers, is a key aspect of its maintainability. Expertly styled code is more expressive, making us more productive when reading or writing code, while avoiding distractions. To improve code style, acquaint yourself with the style guidelines of each language you use or software you edit and apply them religiously. Also, learn from other people's code; don't rely on formatting tools to do the job for you.
