Survivable Network System Analysis: A Case Study
July/August 1999 (vol. 16 no. 4)
pp. 70-77

Critical systems must be able to withstand attacks, failures, and accidents with acceptable levels of information integrity. A four-step method has been developed for analyzing survivability in distributed systems. The following case study describes the application of this method to a large-scale distributed healthcare system.
