Interinput and Interoutput Time Distribution in Classical Product-Form Networks

It is shown that, in a general Jackson network of queues, the distribution of interinput and interoutput times are not equal. Equality holds in reversible classical product-form networks with or without blocking. A sufficient condition for reversibility is given.
