On-Line Recognition of Handwritten Symbols
September 1996 (vol. 18 no. 9)
pp. 935-940

Abstract—An on-line system for recognizing handwritten symbols from a user specified alphabet is described. When a symbol is subsequently written the system is required to recognize the symbol irrespective of the scale, orientation and position of the written symbol.
