Dismountable Media Management in Tertiary Storage Systems

Abstract—We describe an adaptive algorithm for tertiary storage media mount management. This predictive longest next reference (LNR) mount management algorithm attempts to approximate the optimal page replacement policy, OPT [1], [2].
