In the August 2010 issue of IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems ( TPDS), an error occurred in the biography of Li Xiao in the Editor's Note appearing on pp. 1057-1059. The corrected biography follows.

Li Xiao received the PhD degree in computer science from the College of William and Mary in 2002. She is an associate professor of computer science and engineering at Michigan State University. Her research interests are in the areas of distributed and networking systems, peer-to-peer networks, wireless sensor networks, wireless mesh networks, and design and implementation of experimental algorithms. Her research has been supported by the US National Science Foundation (NSF), Microsoft Research, the Internet2 program, and the Michigan Space Grant Consortium. She is currently on the editorial board of Peer-to-Peer Networking and Applications. She has served as workshop program chair, conference vice chair and track chair, and technical program committee member for various conferences in the areas of distributed systems and computer networks.
