The conditional MOVE processor (CMOVE) has been proposed for replacement of logic table driven sequencers like traffic light controllers and microcomputer I/O processors, in order to take better advantage of hardware-software tradeoffs. Herein the architecture of the CMOVE processor is sketched, and its application to traditional numerical control problems is studied.
