By ordering the elements of GF(pn) lexicographically, rather than sequentially, the recently constructed codes of Rahman and Blake become attractive for ultra high-speed computer applications. The codes are based on supplementary difference sets. The whole procedure is illustrated in detail for the (75,50) double error correcting code.
