November 1977 (vol. 26 no. 11)
pp. 1153-1154
S.M. Silverston, Data Communications Division-Nashua Operations, Harris Corporation
An algorithm for the generation of sinusoids is presented. It is better than other algorithms previously known and used for this purpose, as it is stable and requires only two multiplications per cycle.
Index Terms:
Digital oscillator, generation of sinusoids, real time, trigonometric computation.
