A lot of information about the disaster has been serviced with the development of information technology. However, the necessary information is different between the people in the areas suffering from damages of a disaster and those in the non-damaged areas. In this research, we investigated the behaviors collecting information from available media in the students of afflicted prefectures and those of non-afflicted prefectures in order to elucidate what sorts of information contents and media had important meanings for the people in the crisis caused by the 2011 off Pacific Coast of Tohoku Earthquake.
