In this work, we present a component based dynamic services binding that supports making devices into services and integration of standard services. We have also implemented our framework on a small device equipped on a robot and demonstrated various interactions between our system and other services or devices. This framework defines and implements standardized interfaces to support various standard service platforms in a way that service platforms can be added or removed dynamically at runtime using the component exchange technique. Our work develops low-level device capabilities into public services that are readily integrated into existing high-level services.
