Virtual vehicle is the most active element in the transportation virtual scene, whereas the actions of virtual vehicle cannot be designed individually by user-selves. A VRML-based action description language of virtual vehicle (VVADL) is proposed. The model of virtual vehicle is constructed and a reference system is defined for users to describe actions or assign parameters accurately, and the positions of the virtual vehicle are assigned by inverse kinetics, what is more, complex actions are composed of some actions defined previously and some operators for combining. At last, an example of virtual vehicle moving to person is shown.
