Research on the Three-Dimensional Modeling of Mine Surface Plant and Laneway
Hangzhou, China
October 28-October 30
ISBN: 978-0-7695-4500-4
In the process of mine digital construction, 3D modeling of virtual scene of a mine is the key technology to establish a digital mine. In this paper, by exploring current worldwide research and the current application demands, an approach for 3D modeling of a mine surface plant and laneway is deeply discussed. The rapid modeling method for a large range building and laneway based on GIS is studied. Through customizing attribute library, drawing a plane figure and configuring properties for them, automatic generation of a 3D model from a 2D model is realized. The approach is widely applied into LionKingSoft digital mine system and meets the requirements of rapid modeling.
