In this paper, through researching on data acquisitions from print file, analysis of the features of the EMF file format in Windows operating system, focus on the technology of data acquisition, an extraction method about the data acquisition of EMF format is proposed which is a hybrid method of plain text and virtual print. It is a better solution about the extraction contents problem from the print files.
