A Novel Hypothesis of the Opposite Phyllotaxis Modeling of Plants

Based on the theory of difference equation and the limit ω2 of phyllotaxis modeling of alternate plants, we inversely obtained an opposite plant’s phyllotaxis modeling. It should be a novel hypothesis at the opposite phyllotaxis modeling (HOM) that the limit angle of the opposite plant’s phyllotaxis modeling is πω2 based on the theory of analogy. Form 1/2 of the leaf number is Lagerstroemia limii, L. indical etc.; form 1/3 of the leaf number is toward the south-east + north-west and north-east + south-west, for example, Vinca majos, V. majos cv. ‘Variegata’ etc. and it is not easy to find them. The form 2/8 of the leaf number is toward the west-east + north-south and it is very easy to find them, for example, Buxus sinica, Jasminum mesnyi etc.
