A novel representation, the generalized NURBS(G-NURBS), is proposed for modeling parametric curves and surfaces. G-NURBS provides a unified framework for traditional parametric curve and surface. G-NURBS surface based on arbitrary irregular mesh, can represent closed surface or trimmed surface with only one surface patch.
