In this paper, the connections among bifuzzy probabilistic sets, r-intuitionistic fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy sets are established. Firstly, the concept of r-intuitionistic fuzzy sets is presented and operations of r-intuitionistic fuzzy sets are discussed. Secondly, the concept of r-intuitionistic nested set is given and it is proved that a bifuzzy probabilistic set is an equivalent class of a r-intuitionistic nested set.
