Distance education is an important way to construct the lifelong learning system in the knowledge-based economy age, and it is of great education and economy value in rural areas all over the world. In combination with the actual situation in distance education development in China, In this paper, it illustrated the function of distance education in China’s new rural construction, problems in rural distance education are comprehensively analyzed. And its corresponding countermeasures were proposed. And more, the development trend of rural distance education is prospected.
