A vector algorithm for vibration isolation platform with actuator is described. The basic principle of the algorithm is by means of the separate measure vibration signal for calculating the amplitude and phase of the control signal according vector graph. The experimental results show that the algorithm is very effective for reducing low frequency vibration disturbance in linear system. This platform includes a simple columnar structure multi-layer passive vibration isolation device. A theoretical model is developed for this new device and the results of the simulation indicated it has good performance to limit the amplitude of high frequency vibrations. The key technique for vibration signals detection and control by computer sound card are presented. The analysis of the magnetic circuit design and the electromagnetic coil drive in the actuator is also presented.
