In this paper, the configuration of 3D (Three Dimension) location algorithm based on spherical smart antenna array with MUSIC (the multiple signal classification) DOA (Direction of Arrival) estimates is proposed to realize 3D location estimation for future mobile system. By this algorithm, the 3D location advantage gained by MUSIC DOA estimates with cross virtual line array can be achieved, because the MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) data feedback loop and data fusion algorithm with adaptive angle canceling are used to increase DOA angular resolution and location precision, so that a robust and anti-interference location algorithm can be obtained. Simulation results show that the 3D location algorithm is provided with reliable feasibility and improved precision.
