A new algorithm based on multi-level framed slotted ALOHA was proposed to improve system efficiency and response speed of RFID. The algorithm increases the efficiency of the original algorithm by about 20% through multi-level frame and small cycles. The new algorithm, avoiding the hot and complex topic of accurately forecasting the number of tags, is dedicated to identify all tags within a main frame without forecasting the next frame size, thus the computation is significantly reduced. Simulation results show that in ideal circumstances, the new algorithm not only breaks through the "efficiency bottleneck" of current method, but also increases the tag's identification speed.
