In this paper we propose and analyze an efficient flooding technique for static multi-hop wireless networks. The protocol builds up a routing tree that connects all network nodes. This allows a lightweight flooding mechanisms which can be used as primary transmission technique to propagate real-time streams such as VoIP or Video to every node of the network. In order to prove the efficiency of the protocol, simulations have been conducted which count the number of transmissions needed to flood random topologies. The obtained results were compared to the well known multipoint relaying technique (MPR). In most cases, our approach showed to be more efficient.
