ISBN: 978-0-7695-4003-0
Multi-hop transmission link constructed by wireless relay nodes is a feasible solution to long range wireless communication in underground mines. In this paper, a fast routing protocol is proposed to guarantee the multi-hop wireless link between the mine rescue robot and operation console. This routing method contains a fast recursive algorithm for neighboring nodes selection and routing data frame’s design. The proposed method is proved competent for establishing a reliable and effective multi-hop wireless channel very fast.
