Among his many accomplishments, he helped design SSL 3.0, Electronic Frontier Foundation's DES cracker (nicknamed "Deep Crack"), and parts of the content security system found on Blu-ray discs. He continues to design crypto protocols and applications, which are then successfully deployed in real-world systems.
