Looking to act quickly with a 15 December deadline, the program's backers want revolutionary ideas to deter the growing threat of cybercriminals, terrorists and others who attempt to use the Internet against legitimate enterprises. The US Air Force is undertaking a similar initiative, called Integrated Cyber Defense and Support Technologies. Also in this article, a brief look at news in security, privacy, and policy.
