Businesses must understand the critical need for policy-driven security and privacy compliance in developing the right business processes and technical architectures. Detailed technical standards might soon enable the integration of privacy and security policies in business systems. In the near term, the International Security Trust Privacy Alliance has developed a privacy framework to support the implementation of any set of information privacy management requirements, irrespective of source, jurisdiction, or combination.
