We present a framework to assist programmers in the coding of access control aspects in Java applications. The framework provides a transparent way of managing security aspects in enterprise level applications, including legacy ones. It has been embedded within the open source Integrated Development Environment Eclipse, and it has been used experimentally on several case studies, one of which is described in this paper.
