Programming with Object Groups in CORBA
January-March 2000 (vol. 8 no. 1)
pp. 48-58

The authors describe a distributed programming model based on an Object Group Service and discuss various levels of group transparency and their impact on invocation overheads. Their OGS extends CORBA so that it can gather several objects inside a group and transparently handle group membership and consistent invocation of group members.
