Ultrawideband wireless technology is capable of transmitting data at very high rates, over a wide frequency spectrum, with very low power consumption. UWB also offers precision location positioning and tracking, significantly expanding its potential application. UWB technology's unique characteristics make it a more suitable solution than narrow-band wireless systems for meeting wireless needs in the industrial environment.
