Engaging Characters at Art Interactive
January/March 2004 (vol. 11 no. 1)
pp. 1, 4-7
Media-based art exhibitions are becoming more and more prevalent in the cultural arena. After all, these are the tools of our times. However, even given this fact, there seems to be a prejudice against, or at the very least, a tendency away from, showing narrative work. Perhaps this is because it can be challenging and problematic to exhibit such work in public spaces, partially because the work is often meant to be experienced privately, as a single-user experience.
