Winter 1994 (vol. 1 no. 4)
pp. 71-73

The Multimedia Information Systems Group at Arizona State University is an interdisciplinary research group within the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The group members' research interests cover the entire spectrum of multimedia information systems, from acquisition and coding to storage and retrieval, as well as related issues such as analysis, visualization, and transport. We present an overview of three complementary projects relating to images: motion analysis in digital video; biomedical imaging and modeling; and image processing methods for understanding computer and organic vision.
