You're Invited to a Party! (How To Hold a Collaborative IP-Development Session)
November/December 2007 (vol. 27 no. 6)
pp. 64, 62-63
Philip Emma, IBM T.J. Watson Research Center
A successful collaborative IP-development session requires careful planning and preparation. Whether or not you come out with some good intellectual property depends on the guest list, mind-sets, and moods, but also on location, food, music, and party favors. Emma guides us, just as Martha Stewart would, in how to plan a formal session; next issue's column will tackle what happens once the guests arrive.
Index Terms:
invention, innovation, intellectual property, collaborative IP development
