ABSTRACT
Emotion Synthesis" is a key word of the next-generation entertainment computer system. The "Emotion Synthesis" requires a huge amount of calculation for the physical and thought simulation in order to generate the emotional representation with realistic computer graphics output. To achieve this, the "Emotion Engine", which is the main processor of the next generation computer, contains three independent processors. One is a traditional MIPS based processor with floating point coprocessor, and the others are floating point vector processors. In this article, we mainly describe the design approach and programming paradigm of vector processors and a programming example of rendering very complex image.
