Original tools for teaching microprocessing concepts and applications in concrete terms are described. The tools, developed by a team of educators, include 'logidules', the CALM (Common Assembly Language for Microprocessor) language, and the Dauphin (microprocessor) and Smaky (smart keyboard) systems. Courses taught using these tools are described.
