From the data management point of view cloud computing provides full availability for users as they can read and write data anytime, anywhere. The acknowledgment time is almost stable and independent of associated users, size of the database or any added computing/communication constraints. Furthermore, users are freed for the burden of taking backups. If components fail, it is the responsibility of the service provider to replace them and make the data available using replicas in the meantime. This paper is a survey on 16 popular Cloud databases.
